There are 2 main ferry companies over to the Island, Wightlink & Red funnel.

Ferries leave from Portsmouth Habour and Lymington.  Approx journey times are:

  • Portsmouth Gunwharf to Fishbourne car ferry, approx 45 mins crossing (ideal for both properties)
  • Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde Pier head by foot, approx. 22mins crossing
  • Lymington to Yarmouth car ferry, 40 mins crossing

  • Red Jet Red Funnel Termimal 2 Southampton by foot- West Cowes (5 mins from The Nautilus) approx. 25min crossing
  • Vehicle Ferry Red Funnel Terminal 1 Southampton by car/foot – to East Cowes

Buses & Taxis on the Island

Buses on the island are operated by Southern Vectis
